Mental Health & Counselling

Building resilience, wellbeing, and emotional strength, at the heart of everything we do.

Wellbeing is the Foundation of All Learning

Mental wellbeing is integrated across all our interventions. We provide accessible and culturally sensitive counselling support for children, youth, and families, helping them manage stress, build resilience, and navigate emotional challenges.

Children growing up in under-resourced environments face compounded stressors, including poverty, instability, violence, and limited support. Without addressing these emotional realities, academic support alone cannot create lasting change.

What We Offer

Individual Counselling

One-on-one counselling sessions for children and adolescents facing emotional, behavioural, or social difficulties, provided by trained counselling psychologists.

Group Support Sessions

Structured group sessions that build social skills, peer support, and emotional literacy in a safe, facilitated environment.

Family Guidance

Counselling and guidance support for parents and caregivers to help them understand and respond to their children's emotional and developmental needs.

Educator Training

Training for teachers and frontline workers on psychosocial first aid, trauma-informed practice, and creating supportive learning environments.

School-Based Programs

Integration of mental wellbeing activities into school settings, helping normalise conversations about emotions and reducing stigma.

Referral & Linkages

When specialist support is needed, we facilitate referrals to partner mental health services, ensuring children and families are not left without help.

Culturally Sensitive, Community-Rooted Care

Our mental health interventions are designed to be accessible, non-stigmatising, and culturally appropriate for the communities we work with. We understand that discussing mental wellbeing requires trust and sensitivity.

Our counsellors are embedded within communities, building relationships over time and ensuring that support is available before crises develop.
